Skills

Full range of concept/schematic design skills, management of document production and standards – design development through construction documents, general construction detailing (steel frame/concrete deck/slab, masonry veneer, glass and metal curtainwall, wood-frame), millwork & casework detailing, specifications, extensive construction administration and client relations experience, and excellent hands-on residential construction knowledge.

I have worked as project architect on laboratory shell/core (~$168 MIL), multi-family residential (~$28.5 MIL), retail/restaurant (~$3 MIL), developer shell/core buildings (~$28 MIL), and commercial office (~$1 MIL) projects. I am MA licensed, LEED AP and NCARB certified.

2000 – 2002 Visiting Artist at EMERSON COLLEGE, Dept. of Visual and Media Arts, Boston, MA

Taught 3-D Computer Modeling and Animation at both undergraduate and graduate level. Courses structured for semester final project included 3-D form making using NURBS curves and surfaces, polygonal modeling, and subdivision surfaces, spatial composition, color, materials and texture, lighting, animated form and animated camera, camera point-of-view and narrative structure, dynamics simulation, particle systems, compositing, and final media rendering. Contributed to the development of core 3-D curriculum and technological resources within New Media major. Responsible for prototype 3-D Lab website design.
